Job DetailsJob Location: General Pershing Headquarter (NC) - Oklahoma City, OK 73107Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $17.00 HourlyJob Shift: DayJob Category: Nonprofit - Social ServicesDEFINITION: Responsible for the efficient and responsible operation of the drug testing program.    SUPERVISION: Position is supervised by Clinic Practice Manager and/or another member of the management team.   ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Staff will be expected to provide excellent consumer service by providing a warm and welcoming environment for all consumers, visitors and staff and appropriately offering consumers timely access to clinical staff to meet any immediate needs.  Greets consumers and referral sources in a professional manner using high quality customer service and telephone skills. Performs trauma-informed observed sample collection for male or female clients (gender specific) in accordance with agency procedures. Enrolls consumers into drug testing services and performs all related duties associated with the enrollment process. Responsible for the maintenance of referrals, responding to referral source inquiries, scheduling and rescheduling, and verification of appointments. Responsible for the check-in and fee collection of consumers. Ensures a safe and sanitary environment by the completion of daily cleaning, re-stocking, and maintenance of restroom and office supplies. Actively communicates with direct supervisor about situations that may impair the ability to perform his/her duties. Must maintain an organized work area and must follow through on assigned tasks. Abides by the agency policy on confidentiality and respects the integrity and confidentiality of all consumer-related information.  Staff will be responsible for following all safety and administrative procedures. Performs other duties as required and/or assigned by leadership and/or Executive Staff. QualificationsPOSITION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Peer Recovery Support Specialist credentials preferred but not required. Must display proficiency in Microsoft Office software, or equivalent and intermediate general computer skills. Must possess and use daily professional communication skills, verbally and in writing.  Must be able to comprehend and interpret verbal and written instructions. Must be able to multi-task and stay organized while working with frequent interruptions. Must be able to bend, stoop, climb stairs, move about facilities freely, must have upward and downward mobility for filing, and finger dexterity to operate office equipment.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands. Must be able to sit for extended periods and have excellent speech and hearing to communicate with people face-to-face and by telephone. The employee is frequently required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Must complete all NorthCare required training within 30 days of employment with NorthCare. Must have TB test within 12 months prior to employment with NorthCare or obtain within 30 days of employment with NorthCare.
