This position builds strong customer relationships, prepares and follows up on quotes, communicates order updates, and proactively identifies sales opportunities. Key Responsibilities Assist customers in identifying, sourcing, and ordering the correct parts. Use John Deere Parts Advisor and other online resources to locate products and provide accurate parts information. Prepare customer quotes and follow up on outstanding sales opportunities. Communicate order status and delivery information to customers. Promote aftermarket programs, special offers, and other available parts solutions. Proactively engage assigned customer accounts to generate new and repeat business. Follow up after purchases to ensure customer satisfaction and identify additional needs. Maintain accurate customer account information and a clean, organized work area. Collaborate with the Parts, Service, Inventory, Warehouse, and Technician teams to provide timely and effective customer support. Work toward established monthly sales and customer-service goals. Commission potential when sales goals are met and/or exceeded. QualificationsQualifications and Skills Formal parts training and/or relevant industry experience. Understanding of mechanical and technical terminology. Strong computer and data-entry skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent customer-service and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers. Ability to manage multiple customer requests and follow through on commitments. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required; college education preferred. Previous parts experience is a plus; heavy-equipment parts experience is preferred. Valid driver’s license required. Successful completion of a pre-employment physical and drug screening required.
