Job DetailsJob Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73108Position Type: Full TimeSocial Media Specialist Full-Time | Remote | $17/hour Reports to: Manager of Digital Assets   QualificationsPrimary Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day posting across assigned Facebook and Instagram accounts Create, schedule and publish posts according to established content plans Maintain organized content calendars for each station Write social copy appropriate to each station’s individual audience, format and personality Adapt website, promotional, station and community content for social media Create basic platform-native content, including photos, Stories, Reels and short-form video Coordinate with me for graphics and branded creative Work with station personnel to gather photos, video, promotional information and local content Promote station appearances, contests, giveaways, live broadcasts, community events and sponsor-related promotions Monitor comments, messages and audience interactions Respond to routine questions and flag anything requiring management or station involvement Keep station information, links and promotional details accurate and current Maintain an organized master social calendar and stay ahead of upcoming promotions and events Adjust quickly for breaking news, weather, sports and other time-sensitive station content
