ACCOUNT MANAGER POSITION

Full-Time | BASE + BONUS + BENEFITS | STL, MO | LUXURY CLIENTS

Preferred Hours: Full time/40 hours per week; M-F office hours



Position Summary:

The Account Manager cultivates new and existing client relationships to help the company achieve its revenue goals while delivering the highest-quality products and services to customers. The primary function of this role is to represent the Cheree Berree Paper & Design brand in the most positive way to meet company and individual sales goals. This position upholds CBP’s mission, vision, goals, and objectives.



Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Account Growth (35%) - Build new and cultivate existing client relationships to help generate new project leads. This work may include but is not limited to:

  • Contributing to overall company revenue growth by meeting sales targets while maintaining profitability targets as set out in the Sales Manual;
  • Building and promoting strong and long-lasting customer relationships by following client development guidelines in the Sales Manual;
  • Responding to all inbound leads according to the company’s provided response times;
  • Identifying new sales opportunities by expanding client base, product lines or pursuing upsell opportunities;
  • Preparing call reports, weekly work plans, proposals written, prospects gained, networking events attended, and progress towards overall sales goals;
  • Documenting all sales activity in the CRM system and meeting with the VP of Sales weekly to review your Sales Report.



Client Management (30%) - Manages every aspect of scoping and proposals for new projects. This work may include but is not limited to:

  • Gathering and preparing sample packages, proposals, and other collateral materials;
  • Preparing and sending design agreements to clients according to the company’s standard response times;
  • Distilling client needs into clear Creative Briefs for the Design and Project Management teams;
  • Preparing project proposals based on our pricing, design, and production processes, and by using templates in PandaDoc and Workamajig;
  • Ensuring alignment between scope and estimate of each project;
  • Finalizing project proposals with clients for approval;
  • Setting up accurate financial records in Workamajig and CRM in conjunction with Project Management and Accounting departments;
  • Updating systems with accurate information such as client contact details.

 

Integrated Partner (30%) - Collaborate with Design and Project Management Departments to move projects from the Sales process to execution phase. This work may include but is not limited to:

  • Scheduling and leading kick-offs with Project Management and Design departments to ensure proper project handoff;
  • Leading and documenting new client calls in collaboration with designers;
  • Delivering all documents to the Project Manager during kick-off required for proper handoff;
  • Meeting with Project Managers routinely to discuss health and status of current projects and to identify next client touchpoint;
  • Moving projects through company close-out/reflection process and suggesting improvements accordingly.

 

Brand Ambassador (5%) - Serves as a steward of company culture in alignment with the company’s mission and values. This work may include, but is not limited to:

  • Collaborating with management, ownership, and HR to create a positive and inclusive culture for the team;
  • Maintaining professional internal and external relationships that meet company values.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2-5 years of experience in sales, account, or project management; experience with luxury accounts or high-net-worth individuals is a plus;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent work experience required; an MBA is not required but would be a plus;
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and prioritization skills;
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional, polished presence;
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and proven skills to generate new business
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Familiarity with Mac OS and programs preferred;
  • Experience with HubSpot, Asana, Workamajig, or other project management or CRM software.
