The Facilities Management team is hiring a Floor Technician in the Custodial Services Department. Â As a Floor Technician, you can be part of a great crew, work at a stable company where you will find supportive co-workers and managers, and receive a generou benefit package.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible, job working evening hours, 5:00 pm to 1:30 am, Monday - Friday is the primary shift. Weekend and over-time hours may be required in addition to the primary shift as work dictates.Â
Under direct supervision, performs carpet care and hard surface restoration of building and working areas. Uses proper and established methods and materials. Follows a well-established routine. Â
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching all day. The employee must frequently lift and move items up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
2 years of related experience preferred. Previous floor experience highly desirable
Attention to detail
Ability to listen and understand spoken information and ideas
Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs and lift, push, pull or carry objects.Â

Licenses/Certifications:
Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record per Creighton's Vehicle Safety policy. Candidates must have a minimum of two (2) years of licensed driving experience and be at least 19 years of age at the time of hire for this role.
