We are looking for a takeout coordinator - bar attendant to join our team! In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our dining experience by mainly preparing high-quality beverages for servers to deliver to guests, handling to-go orders, and occasionally fulfilling drink orders for those on our waitlist. This position requires efficiency, attention to detail, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. In addition to our starting wage, our bartenders make tips from our to go orders, and recieve a paid tip-out weekly from our servers!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare beverages for servers to deliver to guests, as well as drinks for guests on the waitlist
- Take orders over the phone and in person for guests wanting take out.
- Provide excellent support to the front-of-house team, ensuring quick and accurate drink preparation.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness behind the bar, ensuring glassware and equipment are sanitized and ready for use.
- Manage bar inventory, maintaining stock levels and ensuring items are available for drink preparation.
- Handle cash and payments accurately, following all restaurant policies and procedures for transactions.
- Work closely with the team to manage orders efficiently, ensuring no delays in service.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Follow all service protocols, including ensuring drinks are prepared according to guest specifications.
- Stay informed about menu items and any special promotions to support team efforts.
- Collaborate with other team members to create a positive and productive work atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Experience in drink preparation, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of bar equipment, including knives, blenders, and POS systems.
- Ability to manage bar supplies effectively, keeping the bar stocked and organized.
- Strong communication skills to work efficiently with servers and kitchen staff.
- Capable of working under pressure, multitasking, and staying composed during busy times.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate through the restaurant with ease.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
