We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage the purchasing of operational supplies, equipment, construction services, and facility-related services for our warehouses across the United States. This position will also support new warehouse openings.

Responsibilities:
  • Purchase daily warehouse supplies and equipment, including pallets, packaging materials, office and cleaning supplies, PPE and safety supplies, forklifts and related parts, racking systems, dock equipment, and other operational materials.
  • Handle vendor inquiries, price comparisons, negotiations, purchase orders, delivery coordination, and final inspections based on each warehouse’s needs.
  • Identify and manage local and national suppliers across the United States.
  • Build and maintain a supplier database and regularly evaluate vendors based on pricing, quality, lead time, and service performance.
  • Manage procurement for warehouse construction, maintenance, and facility services, including electrical work, fire protection systems, HVAC, plumbing, fencing, dock equipment, lighting, security systems, internet services, janitorial services, waste disposal, and general repairs.
  • Review project quotations, including scope of work, materials, labor costs, project timelines, and payment schedules, to prevent unclear pricing or duplicate charges.
  • Establish market pricing benchmarks and compare purchasing costs across different warehouses and suppliers.
  • Analyze unusual pricing, renegotiate terms when necessary, and support regional or centralized purchasing initiatives to reduce costs.
  • Review commercial terms in quotations, service agreements, proposals, and contracts, including payment terms, renewals, cancellations, warranties, installation requirements, and termination conditions.
  • Coordinate with the Finance Department on purchase orders, invoices, and payment approvals to ensure the procurement process is properly documented, compliant, and traceable.
  • Support new warehouse openings by ensuring forklifts, racking systems, dock equipment, office furniture, IT and network systems, security equipment, and other supplies and services are in place before operations begin.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in procurement, supplier management, warehouse operations, facility maintenance, or construction-related purchasing.
  • Familiarity with U.S. vendor sourcing, quotation comparison, contract negotiation, and procurement procedures.
  • Strong cost awareness, pricing analysis, and business negotiation skills.
  • Ability to review vendor quotations, project scopes, and contract payment terms.
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and capable of managing multiple warehouse locations and purchasing projects simultaneously.
  • Strong English and Chinese communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with U.S.-based vendors.
  • Experience in logistics, e-commerce warehousing, new warehouse setup, or facility maintenance procurement is preferred.
