Job DetailsJob Location: Opa-Locka, FL 33054Position Type: Full TimeJob Category: QA - Quality ControlXTREME AVIATION, LLC NOW HIRING Quality Control Inspector Quality Assurance Role • Support Safe & Compliant Aircraft Maintenance LOCATION Opa-locka, FL – Onsite INDUSTRY Aviation / Aerospace Services  REPORTS TO Quality Control Manager or Designee We're looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to support our aircraft maintenance operations. This role is responsible for inspecting aircraft, engines, appliances, and components to help ensure maintenance is performed correctly, safely, and in accordance with applicable FAA requirements and company procedures. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Participate actively in the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program Perform inspections during aircraft, engine, appliance, and component maintenance Perform preliminary, in-progress, hidden damage, and final inspections Perform special inspections when required Perform Required Inspection Item (RII) and Buy-Back inspections, as applicable Perform receiving inspections to ensure parts and materials are legal, conforming, and appropriate for use Provide quality oversight for maintenance activities Verify that approved data, materials, tools, and test equipment are being properly used Ensure maintenance work meets required standards of workmanship Identify and report quality issues or discrepancies Review inspection and maintenance documentation for accuracy Ensure required inspections and surveillance are completed Support the Quality Control Manager with quality-related activities WHAT YOU NEED Ability to read, write, and understand English 3+ years of experience in safety or occupational health Knowledge of FAA Part 145 Repair Station and Quality Control requirements Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations related to company operations Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, PDF, and Excel Ability to meet deadlines and deliver results on time Ability to learn and remain focused under pressure Excellent communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills EXPERIENCE WE VALUE Experience in an aviation maintenance or MRO environment Experience with aircraft, engine, appliance, or component inspections Familiarity with FAA Part 145 requirements Experience with RII and Buy-Back inspections Knowledge of maintenance inspection procedures and quality control practices Experience working with maintenance documentation and inspection records Familiarity with Safety Management Systems (SMS) WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT You have strong attention to detail and take pride in doing things correctly You understand the importance of safety, quality, and compliance in aviation You can remain focused and make sound decisions under pressure You communicate effectively with maintenance and quality personnel You take ownership of inspection responsibilities and quality concerns You are comfortable working in a fast-paced maintenance environment AVIATION EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS Experience with an FAA Part 145 Repair Station, aircraft maintenance, or MRO environment is highly valuable for this position.
