RANDALLConstruction's Electrical Division is seeking experienced, safety-focused, andresults-driven Electrical Foremen to join our growing team on projectsthroughout Orlando and Central Florida. The ideal candidate is a highlyskilled commercial electrical professional with demonstrated experiencemanaging field operations, leading crews, coordinating with project leadership,and delivering projects safely, on time, and with exceptional quality.
PositionSummary:
TheElectrical Foreman is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day fieldoperations of commercial electrical construction projects. This leadership roledirects and coordinates field personnel, manages manpower and production,ensures quality installations, maintains project schedules, and enforcescompany safety standards. The Electrical Foreman serves as the primary fieldleader for the electrical team and works closely with Project Managers,Superintendents, customers, and other trades to ensure successful projectexecution.
Essential Functions:
- Plan,coordinate, and supervise daily field operations for electrical crews oncommercial construction projects
- DirectLead Electricians, Journeyman Electricians, and Apprentices to ensureproductivity, quality, and safety objectives are achieved.
- Developand maintain short-term work plans that align with overall project schedulesand milestones.
- Coordinatemanpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractor activities to maximizeproject efficiency.
- Readand interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, one-linediagrams, schedules, and construction documents.
- Monitorinstallation activities to ensure compliance with project specifications,applicable codes, and RANDALL quality standards.
- Conductjobsite planning meetings, daily crew huddles, and safety briefings.
- Identifyand resolve field issues, schedule impacts, material shortages, and laborchallenges proactively.
- Performinspections of completed work and ensure all installations meet qualityexpectations before turnover.
- Coordinateinspections and maintain positive relationships with customers, inspectors,owners, general contractors, and vendors.
- Trackproduction, labor hours, and project progress while providing timely updates toproject leadership.
- Utilizecompany technology to complete daily reports, workforce planning, projectdocumentation, and progress tracking.
- EnforceOSHA regulations and RANDALL safety policies while maintaining a safety-firstculture.
- Mentorand develop field personnel by providing training, coaching, and performancefeedback.
- Promoteaccountability, teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement acrossthe electrical workforce.
- Supportproject startup, commissioning, punch list completion, and closeout activities.
Desired Qualification Requirements andAttributes:
- JourneymanElectrician License (where required) or equivalent verifiable experience.
- Minimumof 10+ years of commercial electrical experience, including 3+ yearsin a Foreman, General Foreman, Superintendent, or comparable leadership role.
- Strongleadership experience managing multiple electricians, subcontractors, andproject activities simultaneously.
- Thoroughknowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local buildingcodes.
- Demonstratedability to manage field schedules, manpower planning, logistics, andproductivity goals.
- Strongunderstanding of commercial electrical construction methods, sequencing, andcoordination with other trades.
- Abilityto read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, one-linediagrams, and electrical schematics.
- Experienceoverseeing large commercial, industrial, healthcare, multifamily, hospitality,educational, or aviation projects.
- Proficientwith tablets, smartphones, and construction management software for reporting,scheduling, documentation, and communication.
- Strongproblem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
- Excellentcommunication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers,inspectors, project stakeholders, and team members.
- Validdriver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Abilityto pass all required pre-employment screenings, including background check anddrug screening.
- OSHA30 Certification required or strongly preferred.
- CPR/FirstAid Certification preferred.
- Experienceoperating aerial lifts, forklifts, and other construction equipment.
- Strongorganizational, planning, and time-management skills.
- Highlevel of integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
- Customer-focusedmindset with a commitment to safety, quality, and project success.
Physical Requirements:
Thisis primarily a Shop or Field Jobsite job. You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, andlift as required by the job, be able to respond quickly to sounds, seeand respond to dangerous situations, and properly wear personal protectivegear.
