Hospitalist – ARNP/PA (Nocturnist)
Location: AdventHealth Orlando

Schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM | 7 nights on / 7 nights off

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Hospitalist ARNP to join our team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform patient histories and physical examinations.

  • Maintain accurate and timely charting in compliance with protocols.

  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans.

  • Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.

  • Develop individualized care plans and submit for periodic physician review.

  • Diagnose, report, and discuss results with patients and families.

  • Prescribe and administer treatments and medications.

  • Provide preventive care counseling, including diet, hygiene, and disease prevention.

  • Administer vaccines and inoculations as needed.

  • Coordinate specialty referrals as appropriate.

  • Report deaths and communicable diseases in accordance with state regulations.

Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted State of Florida license (ARNP or PA).

  • Florida DEA license.

  • Current National Board Certification.

  • BLS Certification.

  • Recent hospital-based experience (within the past 12 months).
