About the Role:
Sherwood Bedding is seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined individual to join our production team as a Machine Operator. This role offers hands-on training, growth opportunities, and the chance to be part of a team dedicated to quality and efficiency in bedding manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor production machinery in a safe and efficient manner

• Perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments to ensure smooth machine operation

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

• Inspect materials and finished products to meet quality standards

• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new machinery

• Previous coiling or mattress manufacturing experience not required—training provided

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented attitude
