Summary of Position:

We are currently seeking a Registration Associate to support our growing portfolio of conferences and events. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and brings significant experience with registration workflows, data analysis, and client support.

Performance Evaluation:

Formal evaluations will be conducted at six-month intervals by the Associate Director, Conference Management Operations, to assess job performance.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Build, test, and manage 50+ event registration websites each year using Cvent, including forms, logic, payment integrations, discount codes, and communication workflows. The portfolio of events includes both small internal meetings and large-scale external conferences (ranging from 50 to 5,000+ attendees).
  • Maintain registration records, track attendee status, process updates or cancellations, and ensure data accuracy throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Serve as the primary contact for registration-related inquiries, providing clear, prompt, and professional responses to clients and attendees.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc registration reports, dashboards, and analytics for both internal teams and clients.
  • Reconcile post-event data and collaborate with finance teams to close out registrations and revenue reports accurately.
  • Coordinate with other departments (marketing, logistics, tech) to ensure consistent attendee experience across platforms.
  • Provide on-site support as needed, including badge printing, check-in, and troubleshooting onsite registration tools.

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • 2+ years of experience using event management platforms like Cvent to handle registration, reporting, and payment processing.
  • Proven success managing registration for a variety of events, including both small-scale meetings and large, complex conferences.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, utilizing complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis functions to transform data into insights.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills with a strong ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Highly adaptable with a knack for quickly learning new technologies and solving problems in real time.
  • Associate's degree, or equivalent level of education and experience.

Desired Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • Cvent Certification or similar credentials.
  • Background in events, association management, or B2B conferences.
  • Bachelor's Degree.

Travel Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel domestically for onsite event support (approx. 15–20% of the time).

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Compensation is commensurate with skills, education, and experience, starting at $53,000.
