The Luxury Brand Valet Parking Manager is responsible for leading all valet parking operations while ensuring every guest interaction reflects the highest standards of luxury hospitality and Forbes Travel Guide service expectations. As the first and last point of contact for guests, this leader creates exceptional arrival and departure experiences through personalized service, operational excellence, attention to detail, and anticipatory guest care. The manager develops high-performing teams that consistently deliver genuine, unscripted, and memorable experiences while maintaining financial accountability, safety, and brand standards. Position Responsabilities Forbes Travel Guide Service Excellence Champion Forbes Travel Guide standards by creating personalized and emotionally engaging guest experiences. Ensure valet associates consistently use guest names, recognize returning guests, and anticipate guest needs whenever possible. Develop a culture focused on genuine hospitality, ownership, and proactive problem-solving. Conduct daily service observations and coaching sessions to ensure service interactions exceed luxury guest expectations. Lead service recovery efforts and empower associates to resolve guest concerns immediately and professionally. Collaborate with Front Office, Guest Relations, Concierge, Bell Services, and Hotel Leadership to create seamless guest journeys. Operational Leadership Manage all valet parking operations to ensure efficient vehicle handling, retrieval, and guest flow. Maintain adequate staffing levels based on occupancy forecasts, special events, and arrival patterns. Monitor daily operations to ensure safety, efficiency, cleanliness, and presentation standards are consistently maintained. Oversee vendor relationships, equipment maintenance, and valet technology systems. Manage department budgets, payroll, expenses, and revenue performance. Team Development Recruit, train, mentor, and develop valet associates to uphold luxury service standards. Conduct regular performance coaching, service audits, and skills development sessions. Promote employee engagement, accountability, and professional growth. Build succession plans and identify future leaders within the operation. Qualifications Minimum of 4 to 6 years of valet, parking, transportation, hospitality, or guest service experience. Proven leadership experience in luxury hospitality, valet operations, or guest services. Strong customer service, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to manage high-volume operations while maintaining personalized guest interactions. Experience with valet technology systems, revenue reporting, and labor management. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Commitment to delivering world-class service and upholding luxury brand standards. High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality, business, or operations coursework preferred. Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Strong knowledge of guest service standards in a luxury, full-service, or high-volume hotel environment. Forbes Travel training desired, but not required Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, evenings, overnight shifts, and high-demand event periods. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, jog, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, rain, wind, and humidity. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull luggage and guest belongings as needed. Ability to safely enter, exit, and operate a wide range of guest vehicles. Performance Expectations Maintain efficient vehicle retrieval times and minimize driveway congestion during peak periods.
