Job Title: Stock Clerk (Second Shift)
Department: Powerplant Division
Reports To: Materials Supervisor/Materials Manager
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Verifying quantities, part numbers, descriptions, serial numbers on Parts issued from inventory.
- The organization and cleanliness of the Engine Shop Stockroom.
- Separating delivery and pick up shipments for various warehouses, Quality Control, and other departments.
- Ensuring that inventory balances remain accurate by proper completion of ongoing Inventory checks.
- Knowledge of current computer systems, making accurate data entries in accordance with established procedures.
- Knowledge of common warehouse practices and warehouse tool operations, i.e. forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Any other duties assigned by the Materials Supervisor or Stockroom Lead related to the stockroom and company needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school graduate; some college and/or technical school desirable.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
