Job Title: Stock Clerk (Second Shift)

Department: Powerplant Division

Reports To: Materials Supervisor/Materials Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1.  Verifying quantities, part numbers, descriptions, serial numbers on Parts issued from inventory.
  2. The organization and cleanliness of the Engine Shop Stockroom.
  3. Separating delivery and pick up shipments for various warehouses, Quality Control, and other departments.
  4. Ensuring that inventory balances remain accurate by proper completion of ongoing Inventory checks.
  5. Knowledge of current computer systems, making accurate data entries in accordance with established procedures.
  6. Knowledge of common warehouse practices and warehouse tool operations, i.e. forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
  7. Any other duties assigned by the Materials Supervisor or Stockroom Lead related to the stockroom and company needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school graduate; some college and/or technical school desirable.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
