Assistant Store Manager

Job Summary

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in running daily store operations, overseeing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role plays a key part in executing store policies, assisting with inventory management, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while stepping in for the Store Manager when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support the Store Manager with daily store operations and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
2. Lead and support the store team with daily tasks, customer service, and sales activities.
3. Maintain a strong presence on the sales floor, actively supporting customers, associates, merchandising, and overall store presentation.
4. Assist with administrative duties, including scheduling, documentation, inventory, reports, and other tasks as needed.
5. Assume responsibility for store operations and team leadership in the Store Manager’s absence.
6. Travel to and work at other store locations as needed.
7. Bend, lift, open, and move products and fixtures weighing up to 30 lbs. as needed.

Qualifications

1. Strong customer service, team leadership, and problem-solving skills.
2. Basic knowledge of inventory management, sales performance, and store operations.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees and customers.
4. Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and lead a team effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to complete administrative tasks and follow company policies and procedures.
6. Must have open availability, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Pay and Compensation

1. From $23 Per Hour
2. Quarterly Performance Bonus
