Hours: Monday-Friday 5:30 am-3:00 pm; times may vary based on business needs; opportunities for overtime. The position drives across Southern MN and Northern Iowa; the IA trucking headquarters is based in the Garnavillo area.
Essential Job Functions:
- Proper pre and post-trip truck and trailer inspections
- Safely drive loaded and unloaded semi-truck/trailer
- Properly load and unload animals from a livestock trailer
- Wash out the trailer daily
- Commit to Holden Farms' goal of achieving a zero-injury culture
- Follow Holden Farm’s Biosecurity Protocols
- Dependable and able to work with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL with a good driving record
- Current DOT medical card
- Must have more than one year of experience
Physical Requirements:
- Candidate must be able to stand and sit for prolonged periods
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, squat, and kneel
- Ability to lift to 55lbs
- Ability to work in various conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.)
