Porter (Driving, Car Washing and Clean Up)

Want to work on the front lines and have a chance to grow in the automotive repair business?  Chesapeake Collision has been in Randallstown for over 25 years.  Our porters clean the interior and exterior of our customer's vehicles, help with repair related tasks, keep our shops clean and tidy, and assist in the pick-up and delivery of vehicles.  If you are a self-starter who wants to make a difference and grow in this industry, this is the place!  We train and promote from within.

Responsibilities include:

• Clean vehicle exterior by hand, brush or by operating washing equipment;
• Polish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body, by hand;
• Vacuum, shampoo, add air freshener and clean vehicle interior (some stain removal may be required);
• Assist with local automobile pickup and deliveries;
• Conduct diagnostic scanning of customer vehicles;
• Keep shop interior and exterior spaces clean and tidy; and
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Dependable team player who is customer service oriented and able to perform responsibilities listed above
• 6 months of work experience.
• Must be over 18 with a valid US driver's license and good driving record.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
