The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputablehospital in Blue Ridge, GA, to hire a dependable Certified Medical OfficeAssistant.

This role combines clinical and administrativeresponsibilities, providing direct patient care while supporting efficientclinic operations.

Working closely with patients, providers, and staff,you'll help deliver a positive and seamless healthcare experience.

Schedule: Full-Time| Days | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient care by roomingpatients, collecting histories, obtaining vital signs, and documentinginformation in the EHR
  • Assist providers during examinations andprocedures
  • Administer injections, perform EKGs,provide wound care, and complete in-office testing
  • Schedule appointments, verify insurance,and provide financial counseling
  • Answer and triage phone calls,coordinate referrals, and ensure timely follow-up
  • Maintain clean, organized, and fullystocked exam rooms and equipment
  • Process paperwork and manage electronicpatient records in AthenaClinicals

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Diploma from an accredited technical school for Medical Assisting required
  • At least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical office setting preferred
  • Certification or relevant comparable experience required
  • Current CPR certification (must be obtained within two weeks of hire)
  • Ability to follow directions & manage time effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and compassionate communication skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced healthcare environment
