Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Response Operations in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Hospital Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while responding to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas; working conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location-specific protocols, helping to deter unauthorized access and disruptive behavior.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and location personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
