Grounds Technician – Multifamily Property
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Grounds Technician to take ownership of the exterior appearance, landscaping, cleanliness, and curb appeal of a residential property.
This is a hands-on outdoor position for someone who takes pride in keeping a property clean, attractive, safe, and well maintained. The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and has experience with landscaping or grounds maintenance.
What You’ll Do
- Â Begin each morning with a property-wide grounds pickup and exterior property inspection
- Walk and clean all parking lots daily, removing trash, litter, debris, and garbage to ensure parking areas remain clean and presentableÂ
- Â Clean dog park areas and empty pet waste stationsÂ
- Â Remove litter and debris from sidewalks, walkways, landscaped areas, entrances, and all outdoor common areasÂ
- Â Mow, edge, blow, trim, weed, and perform general landscaping and groundskeepingÂ
- Â Maintain mulch, seasonal plants, and overall landscaping appearanceÂ
- Â Spot-check irrigation and promptly report leaks, damage, or landscaping concernsÂ
- Â Keep walkways and exterior areas clean, safe, and free of hazardsÂ
- Â Maintain the property's overall curb appeal throughout the workday
- Â Identify and promptly report maintenance or safety issuesÂ
- Â Document completed work and property conditions using CompanyCam or another approved mobile applicationÂ
- Â Assist with minor repairs and other reasonable property-support duties when neededÂ
- Â Participate in an emergency on-call rotation if scheduledÂ
The underlying job description specifically makes morning grounds pickup and exterior property policing the primary first responsibility and already includes parking lots and outdoor common areas.Â
What We’re Looking For
- Â Landscaping or grounds-maintenance experience preferredÂ
- Â Experience with exterior property upkeep, litter/debris removal, and maintaining strong curb appeal preferredÂ
- Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping the property clean
- Â Dependable and punctualÂ
- Â Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilitiesÂ
- Â Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditionsÂ
-  Valid driver’s licenseÂ
- Â Ability to lift up to 50 poundsÂ
- Â Ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel, and perform physical groundskeeping work for extended periodsÂ
Employment Requirements: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.Â
Schedule
Full-time | 8:00 AM start time
Technology Requirement
This position requires the use of a personal smartphone for limited work-related communication and photo documentation through CompanyCam or other approved applications.Â
