SAIC is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst to support program tracking, planning, and coordination for NSWC Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) operations in Florida. This role involves close collaboration with the U.S. Navy (USN) System Program Manager (PM) and the Government Sponsor to monitor tasks, oversee property and software licenses, and ensure sponsor goals are achieved.

Description:
As a Senior Logistics Analyst, you will directly support the success of U.S. Navy operations by managing program-level activities, coordinating resources, and ensuring program requirements are met. Working as part of the Prime Contractor team, you will collaborate with stakeholders to provide insights, maintain tracking systems, and ensure program continuity.


Performance in this role is measured by the timely completion of milestones, accurate data management, and effective communication with stakeholders. Responsibilities encompass program tracking, inventory and property/asset tracking, supporting software license renewals, and coordinating with Navy logistics and supply specialists to ensure mission readiness and operational excellence.


Core Responsibilities:


Program Tracking & Reporting:

  • Utilize tools and dashboards to track schedules, requirements, funding, approvals, and delivery dates.
  • Maintain and share status reports, program updates, and progress summaries with stakeholders.
  • Provide recommendations to resolve delays or challenges to ensure milestones are met.
     

Asset and Inventory Management:

  • Track and manage physical property, equipment, and software licenses to meet program requirements.
  • Oversee software license renewals, ensuring licenses are monitored, updated, and available as needed.
  • Ensure proper coordination of property turn-ins and disposals in compliance with program guidelines, ensuring records are maintained for audits.
  • Collaborate with Navy logistics, supply officers, and property administrators to monitor and account for all assets.


Program Support:

  • Assist the Government Sponsor and System PM in planning and coordinating program activities.
  • Ensure documentation and program requirements reflect team feedback and meet compliance standards.
  • Facilitate effective communication between planning efforts and execution teams to maintain alignment on priorities.


Stakeholder Coordination & Engagement:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Government Sponsor, System PM, DoD contracting officers, Navy logistics specialists, and supply personnel, resulting in streamlined supply chain operations and timely project completion. 
  • Provide regular status and property tracking updates to Navy leadership and other stakeholders.
     

Program Awareness and Problem-Solving:

  • Monitor program schedules, asset allocation, and task progress to identify potential issues or delays.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop solutions and mitigate risks, ensuring continuous program operations.

 

Process Improvement and Information Management:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline program tracking and property management processes using best practices.
  • Maintain and improve inventory systems while ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Keep organized and comprehensive records of program activities, asset allocation, and program continuity for reporting and audit purposes.
