Job DetailsJob Location: TEP Rocky Mountain - Parachute, CO 81635Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $28.00 - $31.00 HourlyJob Category: ProductionFlywheel Energy is looking for a Production Technician to join our field operations team.  In this role, you’ll support daily production operations by monitoring well performance, assisting with troubleshooting, and performing routine maintenance tasks. This role works closely with field operations and engineering teams to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production across assigned assets.  This is a hands-on, outdoor field role suited to someone who's detail-oriented, safety-minded, and comfortable learning new routes and responsibilities on the go Responsibilities: Proactively address regulatory compliance issues identified during site inspections. Resolve regulatory corrective actions on time, with clear, descriptive comments. Participate in the Safety Program, including reporting observations, near misses, and incidents. Identify and mitigate safety and environmental hazards during operations. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards. Monitor daily production performance and report anomalies or underperformance to the engineering team. Assist with implementing optimization plans and artificial lift strategies under engineer guidance. Support field operations through troubleshooting and rapid response to equipment or process issues. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on downhole and surface equipment to ensure mechanical integrity. Maintain accurate documentation of production data, maintenance activities, and safety compliance. Collaborate with engineers and contractors during well interventions, workovers, and equipment installations. QualificationsQualifications: Ability to safely and responsibly operate a company-assigned vehicle. Strong communication skills and the ability to work alongside experienced technicians as part of a team. Willingness to work in adverse outdoor conditions. Willingness to learn all field routes, locations, and responsible areas. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in petroleum technology or related field preferred. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and assist in troubleshooting under supervision.
