Job DetailsJob Location: Parrish Plant - Parrish, AL 35580Position Type: Full TimeTravel Percentage: NoneScope: Responsible for maintaining all equipment at both Samoset and Parrish manufacturing facilities while keeping safety in mind. Performs all duties in a safe and legal manner, being responsible for yourself and the employees around you. Performs daily, weekly, monthly and annual preventive maintenance checks. Report parts needed and has approved by Manager, orders and verifies delivery. Communicates needed repairs and scheduling to Manager. Performs repairs on all equipment including pumps, valves, agitators, hoses and general structures of buildings and grounds. Assist in Daily, Weekly and Monthly Safety Audits. Fills in as Operator as needed Fills our required paperwork to perform work – LOTO, Work orders, Permits Blow down boiler and record boiler chemical history if applicable Identify “other than normal” conditions and report as necessary. Identify and reports potential unsafe conditions in work area. Performs other duties as deemed necessary by the company. Operates following equipment: Torches Air compressor Forklift Power tools JLG (man lift) Boom truck Qualifications High School Diploma (or equivalent) Cutting skills Knowledge of hydraulic equipment Knowledge of lubricants Mechanical knowledge
