We are seeking an experiencedĀ Project ManagerĀ to lead capital investments at our Pasadena manufacturing siteāsupporting initiatives that are central to our operational excellence and long-term growth.Ā
This role offers the opportunity toĀ own and deliver high-impact capital projectsĀ in a complex chemical manufacturing environment, working alongside a collaborative team of engineering, operations, and site leadership.Ā
Ā The OpportunityĀ
As a Project Manager, you will serve as theĀ single point of accountabilityĀ for delivering capital projects from concept through commissioning. You will play a critical role in ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with business objectivesāwhile influencing cross-functional stakeholders and driving disciplined project performance.Ā

Ā Key ResponsibilitiesĀ
Lead capital projectsĀ of varying size and complexity from concept development through commissioningĀ
Deliver projects that meet or exceed safety, cost, schedule, and quality objectivesĀ
Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in partnership with engineering, operations, and site leadershipĀ
Develop and executeĀ comprehensive project plans, including cost estimates, schedules, and resource requirementsĀ
Drive project performance, including cost forecasting, schedule management, and risk mitigationĀ
Serve as theĀ primary project leader, aligning cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders to drive decisionsĀ
Oversee engineering design, technical deliverables, and vendor performance to ensure quality executionĀ
Manage contractors and coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) activitiesĀ
Lead bid package development, contractor selection, and contracting strategiesĀ
Manage scope changes through structured change management processesĀ
Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company project controlsĀ
ChampionĀ constructability, value improvement, and continuous improvement initiativesĀ

Ā What You BringĀ
Required QualificationsĀ
Bachelorās degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, or related fieldĀ
Experience leading capital projects in manufacturing, industrial, or plant environmentsĀ
Proven ability toĀ lead cross-functional teams and influence diverse stakeholdersĀ
Strong understanding of project controls, including cost forecasting and schedule managementĀ
Experience withĀ risk management processesĀ (e.g., risk registers, HAZOP/PHA integration)Ā
Working knowledge ofĀ process safety management (PSM), MOC, and regulatory requirementsĀ
Ā

Preferred QualificationsĀ
Experience in chemical, petrochemical, or heavy industrial environmentsĀ
Background in front-end loading (FEL) and stage-gate project developmentĀ
Familiarity with SAP Project Systems (PS) or similar project management toolsĀ
Experience managing engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractorsĀ
Ability to develop and evaluate project business casesĀ
