What You'll Do-
As our Senior Accountant, you'll support accurate financial reporting while helping strengthen financial operations across the organization.
Month-End Close and Financial Reporting
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and assist with monthly financial statement preparation.
- Develop overhead allocations and prepare monthly cost center statements.
- Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules and corresponding depreciation.
- Maintain appropriate supporting documentation to ensure adequate audit trails.
- Assist with independent audit requests and investigate issues as needed.
- Assist with tax filings and other related requests.
Financial Analysis, Budgeting, and Forecasting
- Maintain key performance indicators and dashboards.
- Develop an employee cost spreadsheet as needed for pricing and budgeting purposes.
- Assist with the design and preparation of projections and annual budget development.
- Assist with pricing model development and updates and provide analysis for contract negotiations.
- Administer small disadvantaged spend reporting with appropriate agencies and assist with spend projections.
Advanced Reconciliation
- Prepare weekly reconciliation of postage escrow balances and investigate discrepancies.
- Maintain and support programs or processes assigned to Finance, including the Gotcha program and Gotcha redemption requests.
Department Support
- Provide direct supervision to the Accountant and fulfill related supervisory responsibilities.
- Provide backup and support to the Accountant, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll functions.
- Participate in training and educational opportunities.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA designation
- Two years of supervisory experience
- Experience with Sage
- Experience with iSolved
- Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting activities

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000
