- Summary of the main function/purpose of the position:
The purpose of this position is to generate and maximize revenue for Envie Boutique. As a Floor Supervisor, you will assist the store manager in achieving sales goals, supervising and training staff.
- Key Principle duties/responsibilities:
- Initiate contact with customers via face-to-face (10-5 rule), phone, e-mail, or Facebook
- Create positive rapport through conversation and positive personality.
- Investigate what customer needs/desires by listening and offering.
- Assist guests in choosing appropriate merchandise based on wants and needs.
- Create guest profiles.
- Enter guest information into Artisan.
- Assist the store manager in creative ways to excite the staff with sales contests and promotions.
- Assist the store manager with sales training for staff.
- Ensure merchandise is restocked daily.
- Assist the manager to ensure that the store is clean and well merchandised.
- Assist store manager with receiving and processing merchandise shipments.
- Assist store manager with covering staff shifts when an employee calls out.
- Be available to work during key events and holidays.
Occasional duties or projects which may be performed at irregular intervals:
- Assist with out-of-store events.

Assist with training of sales staff.
Assist with receiving and processing merchandise.

- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information.
- Ability to organize and write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and the public.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as percentages.
- Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions when furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.

Computer, printer, calculator, and standard office equipment and machines as required.
