How you'll make an impact in this role

  • You will maintain a 360-degree view of patient health, actively monitoring real-time physiological data—including heart rate, rhythm, and pressures. You’ll be the "eyes of the room," anticipating subtle changes in catheter position or patient status and communicating them instantly to the physician and surgical team.

  • Beyond the basics, you’ll perform and interpret critical intra-procedural testing. You will be responsible for oxygen saturation runs, calculating cardiac output, and assessing shunting to provide the data that drives clinical decision-making.

  • You will demonstrate an expert-level understanding of our diverse suite of procedures and specialized equipment. From ensuring strict asepsis to adapting on the fly to a physician’s specific case needs, your preparation is what makes our lab run seamlessly.

  • You’ll champion a culture of safety by managing room setup, maintaining infection control protocols, and ensuring the highest standards of sharps safety and waste management.

 

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

 

Required Credential(s):

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following:
    • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Cardiographic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Radiologic Technology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date

Preferred Credential(s):

  • Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional requirements you'll need

  • An active RCIS OR ARRT Rad Tech License is needed for this role.
