We are actively seeking a dedicated, flexible, and experienced Medical Assistant (Float) to join our compassionate care team. This unique float role supports multiple clinic locations and is ideal for a skilled MA who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-first environment.

As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for direct patient care and clinical support, working closely with providers and the nursing team to deliver high-quality, coordinated services that improve outcomes in our community.

What You'll Do:

  • Work directly with providers, managing same-day appointments and supporting clinical care

  • Perform visit prep, patient assessments, and point-of-care testing (e.g., EKGs, Spirometry, Finger Sticks)

  • Manage lab specimen collection and requisitions

  • Assist with patient education, referrals, and discharge instructions

  • Maintain and update EMR records, allergies, prescriptions, and screenings

  • Collaborate across departments to deliver seamless, integrated care

  • Travel to multiple clinic locations based on staffing needs

  • Support weekend, evening, and urgent care shifts as assigned

  • Participate in clinic training, CPR codes, and safety initiatives

Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program

  • Current Florida Medical Assistant certification

  • Current BLS Certification 

Preferred Experience:

  • At least 1 year of prior MA experience

  • Proven success in customer service or patient-facing roles

  • Strong references from former/current supervisors

  • Volunteer experience or additional healthcare certifications a plus
