Role:
Responsible for the preparation of periodic loan accounting reports, loan payment processing and administration; reconciliation; preparing satisfactions and ensuring all final documents are received and stored; maintains mortgage files in vault; administration of taxes and insurances, annual escrow analysis, 1098 and other reporting.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
30%Â Â Â Performs all daily tasks with respect to mortgage loan servicing (i.e. payments, payoffs, disbursements, GL balancing); including maintaining loans on servicing system, verification of transactions, and quality control to ensure proper documentation. Omnichannel call and chat handling, queue management, and follows same day resolution standards.
20%Â Â Â Assists members with any mortgage servicing questions. Responds to general questions, payoff requests, prepares payoff statements, and prepares mortgage satisfactions. Active vendor administration including weekly file uploads and downloads and annual county tax payments against statutory deadlines.
15%Â Â Â Performs post-closing duties as well as coordinates with collections in regard to delinquent accounts. Weekly review of force placed insurance billing, verification with members and agents, and independent approve/decline authority.
15%Â Â Â Processes escrow disbursement and coordinates annual escrow analysis and tax payments.
10%Â Â Â Coordinates with Collections with any delinquent accounts, SRCA loans, CFPB Servicing requirements and credit union risk department for any deceased mortgage accounts.
5%Â Â Â Prepares remittances and reports to investors and reconciles applicable accounts; Administers periodic reporting including 1098's. Monthly balancing and disbursement for Essent and Enact/Genworth invoices, GL check entries, certificate cancellations on payoffs, and annual PMI disclosure notices.
5%Â Â Â Performs other job related duties as assigned including coordinating with other departments and vendors to implement new processes and procedures.
Performance Measurements:
1.   Escrow administration is carried out timely and accurately, meeting all deadlines.
2.   Transactions are conducted in a timely manner, with minimal errors.
3.   Remittances, reports, and reconciliations are done on time with minimal errors.
4.   All periodic reporting is completed on time with minimal errors.
5.   Responses to members and team members are made within the same day. Information given is accurate and is given in a professional and courteous manner.
6.   Any issues are promptly reported to supervisor.
7.   Complies with all applicable rules, regulations and policies, including but not limited to BSA, OFAC and Physical Security and also updates daily procedures as processes change.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience   2-3 years of Mortgage Loan Servicing experience required.
Education   A high school education or GED; a two year degree or completion of a specialized course study is desired.
Interpersonal Skills   Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills   Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English clearly.
Normally expected to work between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. but may be required to work nights and/or weekends.
Must adhere to safety rules and regulations
Physical Requirements   Light or low amount of physical exertion to include filing and archiving boxes of documentation. May involve lifting of boxes up to 20 lbs.
Work Environment   The position is based in-office in our Pensacola, FL market, operates primarily in an office setting, and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones. This position requires consistent presence in the office to effectively collaborate with team members and fulfill job responsibilities. It requires the ability to actively participate in conference calls and meetings with other Credit Union team members and vendors. The normal expected work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Occasional after-hours work or travel may be required to meet project deadlines or attend conferences, seminars, or client meetings. Must adhere to safety rules and regulations.
