Counter Sales Representative

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities: 

• Minimal quoting for direct counter-sales
• Order Entry
  • Create sales orders in accordance with customer needs.
• Correct discrepancies between sales orders, as needed.
• Help facilitate credit card/cash payments.
• Communicate with customers on order status.
• Handle shipment documentation
  • Route drivers staged pick up areas.
• Manage and direct phone calls - includes answering calls, forwarding phones, taking messages, and screening calls.
• Organize and maintain cleanliness of common areas.
• Maintain and manage accurate office supply inventory.
• Comply with all HSE, QMS, and all policies at Tube Supply
• Provide backup coverage for Sales Manager
• Cross Trained with order entry globally.
• Support Operations teams with task as needed.
• Support Branch Manager with special projects.

Qualifications

Job Requirements: 

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales Assistant role or similar
• Bilingual required, Spanish
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient at data-entry
• Strong customer service skills 
• Excellent problem solving skills
