Now hiring for a Full-time Day shift Dispatch in our Peoria Communications Center! Advanced Medical Transport (AMT) is the premier provider of emergency and scheduled ambulance services in Central and Western Illinois, as well as parts of Iowa. AMT is a private, not-for-profit organization operated for community benefit. As a night dispatcher, you will be responsible for receiving requests for ambulance and wheelchair service, inputting information into the CAD System, selecting and dispatching the appropriate units to respond to the type of call and maintaining correct system status control. This position will work a 12-hour shift rotation with three (3) 12-hour shifts one week and four (4) 12-hour shifts the second week, once training has been completed.
