Overview

Carle Health is seeking an additional BE/BC Interventional Cardiologist to join our Cardiovascular Services team at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois.


Opportunity Details

  • Join an established cardiology practice that includes Heart Failure, Electrophysiology, Invasive, and Non-Invasive Cardiology specialist, CT surgery and vascular surgery
  • Each physician works with an RN and MOA and there are 15 Advanced Practice Providers that support the practice
  • Assess, diagnosis and treat cardiac disease states in both an inpatient and outpatient setting
  • Valve Clinic and TAVR program Watchman
  • Inpatient management at 3 Hospital campuses and outpatient Clinic responsibilities at s clinic sites in the Central Illinois Region
  • Nuclear stress tests at two hospitals
  • Call schedule requirement: 1 in 4 rotating weekly call Tuesday to Tuesday
  • Collaborate with the Hospitalist team, other specialists, and cardiology colleagues for a multidisciplinary approach to patient care

  • A flexible, collaborative, and highly talented group that works together as a team and takes a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
  • Large, loyal group of employed referring Primary Care providers
  • First in the region to perform the TCAR procedure and establish a CTO program
  • Monitoring and EKGs at all of seven local Cardiovascular clinics and three hospitals
  • Echo reading available at many of our outlying facilities
  • Medical Director currently involved in 12 Cardiology research studies

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $725,000 - $730,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
