Patient Financial Services (PFS) Supervisor Position Details The Patient Financial Services Supervisor provides leadership and oversight for Patient Financial Services operations across Perham Health, Perham Living, and Perham Living Home Care. This role is responsible for supporting staff, maintaining effective revenue cycle processes, and ensuring operational efficiency, quality, and excellent customer service. Working closely with organizational leaders and internal and external partners, the Supervisor serves as a key resource for patient financial services activities and helps identify opportunities to improve processes and departmental performance. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and support Patient Financial Services staff through recruitment, hiring, onboarding, performance management, and ongoing development Provide direct supervision and operational oversight for prior authorization, billing, payment posting, credit balance resolution, self-pay collections, and related revenue cycle activities Monitor departmental performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, quality, and service Serve as a resource for staff and organizational leaders regarding Patient Financial Services processes, procedures, and revenue cycle activities Address and resolve escalated issues involving patients, payers, and other stakeholders Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of departmental policies, procedures, and best practices Foster a culture of excellent customer service, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement Maintain effective working relationships with internal departments, external partners, and payers to support departmental and organizational objectives Communicate departmental trends, challenges, and opportunities to leadership and contribute to operational planning What You Offer High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, patient financial services, medical billing, or a related healthcare financial setting Demonstrated experience with healthcare revenue cycle operations Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred Associate degree or higher in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Work Schedule Full-time, 80 hours per biweekly pay period Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm What We Offer People join Perham Health for the opportunities and stay because of the culture.
