The Job

 

The Customer Service Representative will ​ ​assist in the day-to-day operations of a World Vision Warehouse by stocking warehouse products, performing inventory management functions, preparing products for shipment, operating the cash register, pricing product, and performing related clerical duties. Help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign

 

Responsibilities

 

  • ​​​Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, chapel, prayer, worship, devotions, and leadership of devotions); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.
  • ​Prepare warehouse orders for both in-house and outside shipping to ensure timely and accurate delivery. 
  • ​Receive and process incoming deliveries and price product for distribution. 
  • ​Assign appropriate retail value to various product lines in accordance with Warehouse policy. 
  • ​Properly apply handling fees to all appropriate building material products. 
  • ​Oversee the operation of the Teacher Resource (TRC), Building Materials (BMC) and Essentials Supply (ESC) centers. 
  • ​Ensure Teacher Resource, Building Materials and Essentials Supply areas are well stocked and neatly organized.
  • ​Update shopping templates for partners and teachers use.
  • ​Coordinate product placement and replenishment schedule with Warehouse Operations Manager.
  • ​Assist with the coordination and upkeep of the pick-line system for both the TRC and ESC.
  • ​Run the Warehouse cash register. 
  • ​Serve as subject matter expert for DAX Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • ​Process credit/debit card transactions.
  • ​Work closely with the office manager to unlock customer accounts.
  • ​Receive money for product and issue proper change.
  • ​Ensure proper identification is provided for all checks.
  • ​Balance cash register at the end of each day.
  • ​Complete all close-out transaction reports in DAX.

WVUS Pay Grade Level: 216
