Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed in Seneca, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at an automotive location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and contractors, and documenting entries and exits in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs related to patrols, incidents, access control, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
