What You'll Do

As the Sous Chef, you will support the culinary team in overseeing all aspects of the culinary operation, ensuring the delivery of exceptional food and service every day.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in leading and developing a high-performing culinary team
  • Execute creative, fresh, and elevated menu offerings that enhance the guest experience
  • Oversee daily food production and ensure consistency in quality and presentation
  • Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and product rotation
  • Support food cost control initiatives and budget management
  • Maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP compliance
  • Partner with leadership on new menu development and culinary initiatives
  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction through outstanding food quality and service
  • Support catering and special event execution within the lounge environment
  • Promote sustainable culinary practices and operational efficiencies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of culinary leadership experience in hospitality, restaurants, fine dining, hotels, airport lounges, or contract foodservice
  • Experience in high-volume food production and catering environments
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage trends, quality standards, and presentation techniques
  • Demonstrated financial acumen, including food cost controls and inventory management
  • Working knowledge of HACCP food safety standards
  • Culinary degree or formal culinary training preferred
  • Experience with expo cooking and fast-paced service operations
  • Knowledge of P&L management and contract-managed foodservice operations is a plus
  • ServSafe Certification preferred
  • Passion for innovation, guest service, and team development
