Who We’re Looking For
The Customer Operations Specialist – REIT manages the day-to-day waste and recycling operations for approximately 25–30 assigned properties. This role is primarily responsible for scheduling hauls, confirming service completion and weights, reviewing invoices for discrepancies, tracking escalations, and providing responsive customer service.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and accountable. We’re looking for someone who can independently manage their assigned workload, use critical thinking and operational data to resolve issues, and recognize when to ask for support or escalate a concern.
This is a remote position, and candidates must reside in Arizona.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage daily waste and recycling operations for approximately 25–30 consistently assigned propertiesÂ
- Schedule and coordinate waste and recycling hauls based on service needs and operational dataÂ
- Confirm completed hauls, weights, and service details for accuracyÂ
- Review invoices, identify discrepancies, and coordinate resolutionÂ
- Work within eTrack to manage service activity, work orders, property information, and operational updatesÂ
- Monitor container history, PSI readings, service cycles, tenant changes, and other data to make informed service decisionsÂ
- Track customer and service escalations through resolutionÂ
- Coordinate equipment repairs and temporary roll-off container placement and removalÂ
- Communicate with customers and vendors to resolve issues and provide timely, professional updatesÂ
- Maintain accurate records and ensure assigned work is completed with consistent follow-throughÂ
- Partner with internal teams and escalate issues when additional support is neededÂ
What You’ll Bring to the Table
- 2+ years of relevant experience in customer operations, customer service, dispatch, service coordination, or a related fieldÂ
- Strong customer service and professional communication skillsÂ
- Ability to read and review invoices and identify discrepanciesÂ
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skillsÂ
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracyÂ
- Ability to interpret operational data and use it to make sound decisionsÂ
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple properties and prioritiesÂ
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and consistently follow through on responsibilitiesÂ
- Willingness to ask questions and seek support when appropriateÂ
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and ExcelÂ
Preferred Skills
- College degree preferredÂ
- Experience in waste and recycling, property management, logistics, facilities services, or other service-based operationsÂ
- Experience with eTrack, work order systems, CRM platforms, or similar operational systemsÂ
- Experience reviewing invoices or service-related billingÂ
- Experience coordinating with vendors or third-party service providersÂ
