Job Description:
Under general supervision, employee performs a variety of production assembly operations on electronic components and final assemblies. To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Key Responsibilities:
- Covers the terminal of the part with epoxy to ensure water resistance after soldering has been completed;
- Places part in oven to dry;
- Keeps quality up to acceptable standards with little discrepant work;
- Performs tasks equal to or exceeding established standards;
- Accomplishes production quotas;
- Conducts himself/herself in a business-like and civil manner;
- Working consistently, working overtime when required;
- Keeps work area clean and orderly;
- Ability to react to changes productively and perform other essential tasks as assigned;
Skills and Requirements:
- Due to need to maintain ITAR compliance, applicants must be U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
- Ability to acquire proficient knowledge of Potting Line procedures;
- Performs light electronic and / or electromechanical assembly work of low complexity and scope;
- Performs frequent spring linking as required;
- Adequate manual dexterity to safely and proficiently utilize standard production small hand tooling and fixtures;
- Ability to work from samples or simple visual aids;
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instruction in English;
- Ability to work with a number sequence;
- Ability to work well with only a modest amount of repeated instructions;
- Be team oriented and possess flexibility and adaptability.
