This private practice boasts a team of skilled orthopedic physicians specializing in conditions from whiplash to bone spurs to back and neck pain. Â They take a conservative, consultative approach offering treatment plans tailored to each individual patient. Â They are experts in neck and spine, knee, shoulder, arm and elbow, hand and wrist, hip, leg, and ankle and foot.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new spine surgeon will see patients in an established office and surgery center, performing orthopedic spine surgeries.
Duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- consult with patients to determine appropriate courses of treatment
- perform necessary surgical procedures in the treatment of injuries or symptoms
- examine patients while ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests
- obtain information on medical conditions to determine diagnosis
- provide consultation and comprehensive management of patients
- monitor patients’ conditions and progress
- reevaluate patients’ conditions and progress as necessary
- support appropriate referrals
The full details of the position are negotiable and will be collaboratively decided between the practice and the physician. Â
The practice is able to offer 2 to 4 shifts per month in this office. Â If additional work is desired, that can be provided in the area of interventional pain and/or traveling to out-of-state offices for additional spine work.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Arizona medical license
- DEA
- Board Certified / Eligible, Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship, Spine Surgery
