We’re looking for an energetic and engaging Quality Assurance Trainer to support new associates through classroom instruction and hands-on, one-on-one training across all distribution center processes. This role plays an important part in helping new hires understand our operations, follow company guidelines, build confidence, and develop the skills needed to succeed in their roles.
Pay Range: $18.00/Hourly
What you will do?
- Onboard and train new hires to ensure they meet the needs and expectations across all DC departments
- Lead engaging, introductory training sessions that cover essential DC processes, using consistent materials and methods
- Design and implement a comprehensive training methodology, ensuring standardized materials and documentation across all teams
- Identify skill gaps and assess training effectiveness to determine when additional support or development is needed
- Evaluate the overall impact of training programs and continuously assess development needs for all associates
- Cross-train associates across multiple departments to enhance team versatility and skillsets
- Support the standardization of processes throughout the distribution center to ensure consistency and efficiency
What you bring to the table!
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain patience while training and mentoring
- Ability to build positive relationships and work effectively with individuals across all levels of the organization
- Clear and confident communicator, capable of facilitating both classroom and hands-on, on-the-floor training for individuals or groups
- Able to adapt training approaches to meet the unique needs of each individual in a dynamic, evolving setting
- Familiarity with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including forklifts, pallet jacks, and Joeys is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 1 year of experience working in a distribution center
- 1+ years of experience leading a team is preferred
- Prior experience in training or onboarding in a high-volume Distribution Center is highly desirable
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 70 pounds as needed
- Ability to work primarily while standing, bending, stooping, and/or walking for up to 8-10 hours daily
