The Site Safety Supervisor is responsible for supporting and overseeing daily safety operations on assigned construction and semiconductor project sites. This role promotes a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, client requirements, company policies, and site-specific safety programs. The Site Safety Supervisor partners with operations leadership to identify hazards, implement corrective actions, conduct training, and support incident prevention efforts. Responsibilities include safety audits, inspections, investigations, new hire orientation, and employee coaching to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.

 

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support and promote a proactive safety culture focused on injury prevention and loss reduction.
  • Conduct routine site inspections, safety audits, and job hazard analyses to identify and mitigate workplace risks.
  • Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations, customer requirements, and company safety policies.
  • Lead daily safety observations and provide coaching to employees and subcontractors on safe work practices.
  • Participate in accident and incident investigations, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain required OSHA documentation, training records, and compliance reports.
  • Facilitate new hire safety orientation and ongoing safety training programs.
  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety stand-downs, and site safety meetings.
  • Assist with emergency response planning and support emergency situations when necessary.
  • Partner with project management and operations teams to ensure safe execution of work activities.
  • Support implementation of client-specific safety requirements and semiconductor site protocols.
  • Assist with training and qualification programs related to MEWP, PIT, fall protection, and other safety-related topics.
  • Develop and maintain safety reports, inspection records, and compliance documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in construction, industrial, manufacturing, semiconductor, or related safety environments.
  • OSHA 30 required.
  • OSHA 510 preferred.
  • Knowledge of NFPA 70E Electrical Safety requirements.
  • Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and industry safety standards.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with field employees, supervisors, project managers, and clients.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Semiconductor construction experience.
  • Cleanroom construction or manufacturing experience.
  • Experience supporting large-scale commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects.
  • MEWP and PIT Trainer certification.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in active construction environments.
  • Ability to walk extensive job sites and climb ladders and stairs.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to work outdoors and in varied weather conditions as required.
