Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Dental Hygienist, You will provide preventive and therapeutic clinical services, oral health education, and referral/care coordinator services for the Dignity Health Children's Dental Clinic and Community Screening program.

Every day you will expertly perform administrative duties, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, professional advisement and support to the department, and coordinating and instructing dental hygiene students.

To be successful, you will demonstrate outstanding clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a compassionate, detail-oriented demeanor, contributing to optimal oral health outcomes and positive patient experiences.

- Provide direct care to patients at the dental clinics as directed by Arizona Affiliated Practice Act.
- Provide dental hygiene care to pediatric dental clinic patients, which may include dental assessment, professional cleanings, radiographic imaging, sealants, interim therapeutic restorations, and fluoride application, and health education.
- Coordinate patient care planning, referral, and follow-up.
- Maintain clinic equipment and report any issues or concerns.
- Assure dental instruments are in sterile condition prior to use. If sterility in question, do not use instrument(s).
Job Requirements
Required
- Graduate of an accredited school for dental hygiene
- Five years clinical dental hygiene experience
- Bachelors Other in dental hygiene, public health, health promotion, health science or in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working with underserved populations

- Basic Life Support - (BLS/CPR)
