Reports to:Â Shipping & Receiving Supervisor
Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following; other duties may be assigned.
- Performs counting, unloading, put-away, sorting, labeling, picking, packing, auditing, shipping and making boxes
- Counts inventory before packing and shipping
- Checks, verifies and audits part that they are not damages or defective.
- Matches pick ticket information to actual packed items.
- Keep work area clean at all times (5 S's)
Education and Experience: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Â The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least one to two years of warehouse/inventory experience is required.
- Experience in a fast paced, high unit shipping environment.
- Excellent verbal and writing communication skills.
- Professional written and verbal fluency in English is required.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Computer software skills in ERP systems, MS Office programs and general data entry.

- The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, moving mechanical parts.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Must frequently lift and move up to 50lbs, occasionally required to lift and/or move more than 100lbs.
- Specific vision required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
