Company Overview

Sports & Imports Autos is looking for an experienced and motivated Automotive Technician  to join our Stone Mountain team. We are a fast-growing dealership group with multiple locations and a large, steady inventory of vehicles. Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs
  • Handle brake jobs, suspension work, tune-ups, engine repairs, and electrical diagnostics
  • Diagnose drivability and check engine light concerns
  • Complete vehicle reconditioning to prepare inventory for the front line
  • Work closely with management to prioritize repairs and turnaround times
  • Maintain clean and accurate repair documentation
  • Ensure vehicles meet company safety and quality standards
Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency in automotive diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with various vehicle systems including diesel engines and transmissions is a plus.
  • ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Certifications --A1–A8 Certifications
  • ASE Master Technician Certification preferred
  • Own tools (required)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands on experience
  • Strong diagnostic skills
