JOB SUMMARY

To prepare fresh, delicious, and healthy cold and hot food items using the best possible ingredients and recipes in a safe environment. To provide excellent service and quality Bistro products for our guests. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Speak with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

JOB SPECIFIC TASKS

• Keep department cases and display areas stocked and the product rotated according to the product standards. 
• Run food and clean tables.
• Monitor dish room.
• Attend to counter to assist customers with product selection, preparation, packaging, questions and any other requests. 
• Light food preparation as needed according to Courtyard Bistro standards
• Maintain department product displays and signage 
• Receive and inspect incoming products for quality and accuracy 
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation and surrounding areas 
• Follow all guidelines and procedures outlined in department and health and safety manuals 
• Ready to cross train in every area of the Bistro.
• Complete paperwork needed to open the shift.
