Pinon Unified School District is seeking a Health Aide to join our team. As a Health Aide, you will be responsible for assisting our students in matters related to health, safety, and well-being. Your role will be crucial in maintaining a healthy and safe learning environment. We are a primary/secondary education organization that has been dedicated to providing quality education to our community for almost 30 years. Our organization started as Piñon Elementary School in 1984 under the Cedar Public School District No. 25. We have since expanded to three campuses and now provide education to students from preschool to 12th grade. We take pride in our commitment to providing the best education available to the children in our community.


Responsibilities
  • Administer first aid and other necessary medical attention to students and staff
  • Monitor student health during school hours
  • Manage and maintain student health records
  • Coordinate with parents and healthcare professionals as necessary
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and healthy school environment
  • Administer medication according to established procedures
  • Train staff as needed on basic first aid and emergency procedures
  • A. A. Degree or 60 semester hours or have passed Arizona State Approved Para-Professional Exam.
  • Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent program
  • Experience in a working with students with disabilities
  • first aid and CPR Certified
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple responsibilities
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screenin
