Job description:

North American Automotive Group in Cumming, GA is looking for an experienced CPA, Accountant/Financial Operations Manager to join our team!

Qualifications for the Accountant/Financial Operations Manager:

  • Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant is highly preferred
  • BS degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA is a plus
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial procedures
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Experience with accounting software
  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge (familiarity with formulas, VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
  • Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
  • Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
Responsibilities for the Accountant/Financial Operations Manager:

  • Reviews financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
  • Forecast revenue and analyze profit margins
  • Brief senior managers regularly on the company’s financial status
  • Liaise with Tax Accountants
  • Keep company financial information confidential
  • Establishes company directives, vision, and goals.
  • Ensuring all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
  • Improving operational management systems, processes and best practices
  • Helping the organization’s processes remain legally compliant
  • Coordinates activities of departments concerned with the production, pricing, sales, or distribution of products/services.
  • Consults with other executives, and staff about general operations.
  • Establishes and implements departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures.
  • Establish accounting policies and procedures
  • Stay informed on industry developments and changes in regulations
