Role Summary

This is responsible for the safe setup, basic operation, and routine adjustment of production machinery to support efficient manufacturing and high-quality output. This role focuses on maintaining equipment performance through standard procedures, identifying basic issues, and escalating more complex problems as needed. Working closely with production and maintenance teams, this position helps ensure a safe, clean, and productive work environment.


Responsibilities

· Perform daily setup, changeovers, and basic adjustments of production machinery following standard operating procedures

· Operate equipment to meet production targets while maintaining quality standards

· Monitor machine performance and identify routine issues; troubleshoot minor problems and escalate when necessary

· Follow all safety guidelines, machine specifications, and precision measurement requirements to ensure safe operation

· Maintain a clean and organized work area in line with 5S or similar standards

· Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding machine status, issues, and production needs

· Accurately complete basic production and operational documentation

· Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures

· Provide additional support to production teams during downtime or as needed

· Additional duties as assigned



Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· 0–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred

· Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine setup and operation

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety

· Ability to follow instructions, standard procedures, and work independently with guidance

· Basic problem-solving skills with the ability to escalate issues appropriately

· Effective communication and teamwork skills

· Proficiency with basic computer systems (e.g., Microsoft Office or similar tools)
