What You’ll Do:     

  • Support the compounding process by preparing raw materials, cleaning equipment, and adhering to established protocols under the guidance of the operations Area Manager   

  • Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize laboratory tools and equipment, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards 

  • Maintain a clean and organized laboratory, including washing countertops, sinks, and work areas, and disposing of waste materials properly   

  • Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and maintain accurate records of consumables and broken equipment  

  • Follow safety protocols and procedures, including the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

  • Respect and maintain confidentiality under patient privacy regulations   

  • Ensure compliance with compounding standards (USP <795> and <800>) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)    

  • Collaborate with Team Members to nurture a positive and efficient work environment

  • Other duties as assigned

**Training will be provided for all PPE requirements. Team Members may work with chemicals classified as hazardous and/or toxic by NIOSH and must follow all safety precautions. 

What You’ll Need:      

  • Ability to obtain pharmacy technician licensure, if applicable.  

  • Willingness to undergo respirator fit testing (note: full beards or facial hair may interfere with proper respirator seal).

  • Capability to work in a fast-paced environment with delicate, high-value equipment

  • Strong visual acuity, including color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. 

  • Physical ability to lift at least 40 pounds and stand for extended periods  

  • Ability to work in a variety of positions and locations such as sitting, standing, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and walking; for prolonged periods of time   

  • Comfortable wearing required PPE for long durations as needed Proficient hand dexterity to handle objects, tools, and controls   

Bonus:     

  • 1+ years of experience in a compounding lab or a kitchen environment  

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.

  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate optimally with Team Members and provide constructive feedback    

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards - a plus but not required
