Recognized as a technical expert who independently resolves highly complex challenges and leads strategic quality engineering initiatives. Provides leadership across large-scale testing programs, influences technology direction, mentors team members, and partners with senior leadership to drive quality, performance, and AI system reliability across the organization.
What You'll Do
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies for enterprise applications, AI-powered solutions, APIs, and system integrations.
Create and maintain manual and automated test cases to validate functionality, reliability, performance, scalability, and security.
Validate AI and machine learning solutions, including accuracy, model behavior, data quality, prompt performance, and responsible AI requirements.
Perform performance, load, stress, and security testing to ensure applications meet business, compliance, and operational standards.
Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution, ensuring thorough retesting and validation.
Partner closely with software engineers, AI engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to review requirements and ensure testable, high-quality solutions.
Build and enhance automated testing frameworks that support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) environments.
Develop testing approaches for AI agents, generative AI applications, large language model (LLM) integrations, and intelligent automation solutions.
Analyze test results, identify quality risks, and provide actionable recommendations to improve application performance and user experience.
Drive quality engineering best practices, continuous improvement initiatives, and testing standards across multiple projects and teams.
Lead complex testing efforts for large-scale applications and provide technical guidance to less experienced team members.
Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of high-quality technology solutions.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience in software quality engineering, testing, or quality assurance.
Experience designing and executing manual and automated testing across web, cloud, mobile, and enterprise applications.
Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks, APIs, microservices, and cloud-based architectures.
Experience with performance, security, and regression testing methodologies.
Understanding of AI engineering concepts including LLMs, AI agents, RAG, prompt engineering, model evaluation, and AI system validation.
Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar programming languages, with experience supporting Agile and CI/CD environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience testing AI-powered applications, conversational AI platforms, or agentic AI solutions.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Experience with AI model evaluation frameworks, test automation for AI systems, and MLOps practices.
Relevant software testing, cloud, security, or AI certifications.
